Toady started out as just a lazy day at home, taking down the Christmas tree & cleaning, but ended up being much more! It was a rather warm day for this area at this time of year (like 35 degrees), so we decided to round up our neighbor friends and go SLEDDING!!! About a block away from our house is the high school and there is a great hill to sled on. So we all bundled up, grab some sleds & hit the snow!

We were all exhausted from sledding so we had a little snowball fight!

After everyone came back to our house for some hot cocoa & to play a few Wii games. A great 1st day of a New Year! Hope everyone else had a wonderful January 1st!!
Yet again this year I did not make any "resolutions", instead I am aiming to reach a few "goals". One goal is to try to blog on a regular basis! Lets see if I can do it!

Yeah for a fun day! I haven't introduced Caden to sledding yet ... because I know, once we start, he will want to do it all the time! And Dan hates the snow ... so that means I'm the sucker that will get to take him. I hear ya on Collin and the kid from Chrismtas story. Caden's snow jacket does the same thing. Poor kid!

What a fun day! We don't really have any good hills to sled on at our house, the hill in the meadow is kinda rough from the horses...I'm waiting on the kids to get a little older to bust out the tractor innertubes! Love Ethan's snow look, very stylish! Collin totally looks like Randy! Happy New Year!
I'm living vicariously through you when you post pictures of all the fun your kids have right at your own home with all that snow around. What fun Ash and Aidan would have. Your starting your year off wonderfully!
What a great way to start the New Year - lots of fun! Haha - we kept saying that Simon looked like Randy in his snow gear too! He would fall over and tell me "stuck! stuck!"

Happy New Year! One thing I wish we could have done with the snow here was go sledding. We are at a lack for hills. It looked like so much fun. And your Christmas pics were amazing as well. You have two very handsome little boys.
They are predicting more snow here this week (ugh) but a fire and hot chocolate always make those days a lot of fun!
Great fun!!! We also have a high school near by with a huge sledding hill! I've been going there sledding since I was a kid, but still have yet to take my kids! Hmmm... I will have to do that! Sonya will be wrapped up in bubble wrap first of course! (I'm totally not kidding! Hehe!) I love all the pic's! Looks like the kids had a blast! Wii and hot chocolate, what a perfect ending!
